Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Pakistan has noted that there is some conflict between Muslim Family Law 1961, and Islamic Sharia Law. As per Maulana Muhammed Khan Sherani (Council Chairman) there is no need of permission from first wife to marry another woman.
A Muslim man can go for another marriage without seeking permission from his first wife. But he has to fulfill all needs of all wives he have.
Now all men will wait for the proper notification to be issued by Pakistani government so they can marry more than once in their life.
