This Makran Coastal highway runs across Arabian Sea coastline, and connects two major hubs of Pakistan’s economy. Construction of this highway was inaugurated in 2002 and completed on December 14, 2004. Before construction of this highway, Karachi and Gawadar was connected with an uncarpeted road, and at that time it takes at least two days of hectic traveling, but due to this highway this time has been reduced to 6-7 hours of smooth and joyful driving.

People who love to drive on long routes must drive on this amazing track, between Karachi and Gawadar. This journey will cover other cities of Balochistan such as Ormara and Pasni. Some eye-catching locations can be found during this journey. Amazing historic 740 years old naturally fragmented statue “Princess of Hope” is also situated in between this highway.
